A wrong answer or a timeout breaks one lit bulb. That letter goes dark.

Skip if you need to
Skipping uses that question. It reveals no letter and gives no wrong-answer penalty.

Try Tricky once
Get it right for +250 and a big random bulb. It reveals one letter and small slices of its neighbors.

Commit your word
You get one final word guess. Commit sooner for a bigger Risk Bonus.
ABOUT YOUR SCORE
A solved word earns 500 points. Each right regular answer is worth 50 points when you solve the word. The Risk Bonus gets smaller as you use questions. Each wrong answer costs 75 points. A right Tricky answer earns 250 points, even if your final word guess is wrong.
Scores can go below zero. The result screen shows every part of your score and its possible maximum.
Opening the in-game directions does not pause the question timer.
