THE DAILY GAME
Wattwise stores the records needed to check answers and scores, resume a round, and run its daily leaderboard. This includes puzzle and question actions, deadlines, completed results, and essential browser-session identifiers. A guest can play without creating an account where guest play is enabled. An essential cookie connects that browser to its saved guest round.
ACCOUNTS AND PROVIDERS
An account adds your email, display name, leaderboard choice, and saved game records. Supabase handles authentication and password hashes. Wattwise does not store readable passwords in its game database. Email confirmation and recovery messages use Resend through the configured account provider. Cloudflare hosts the website and its server-side application. Access and refresh tokens are held in an encrypted server-side vault; browser session cookies contain opaque handles.
Cloudflare, Supabase and Resend process the technical data needed to provide their connected services, such as network requests and authentication or message-delivery events. The operator can review game statistics and feedback reports to keep the game running and fix problems.
LEADERBOARDS AND SHARING
Your email is not displayed on the leaderboard. Your chosen display name and verified daily score appear by name only when you opt in. Score distributions include completed rounds from people who do not display a name. Share prepares a spoiler-free score message only when you choose it; sharing is not automatic.
YOUR CHOICES
Account lets you change your display name and leaderboard setting. Where deletion is available, it requires your current password and typed confirmation. It erases your personal profile, attempts, results, leaderboard entries and reports, and blocks access. If final removal by the authentication provider is pending, only the minimal identifiers and retry record needed to finish that removal remain until the retry succeeds. Owner accounts require a separate transfer of owner access before removal.
Account and game records are kept while needed to run your account and its saved game history, unless you request deletion. Guest records can expire when their session expires. Technical service logs are subject to the connected providers’ retention settings. Send a privacy or account-data request through Contact; do not include passwords in your message.
ADS AND PAYMENTS
Advertising, external analytics, Google sign-in and subscription payments are off. Unlimited is a planned feature and is not sold through this page. If connected services change, this information will be updated before they are enabled.
